The Faculty of Fine Arts from the UCM intends to prepare a conference of artistic groups to provide a framework for hosting this show and interesting phenomenon that takes place today .
approach arises from the definition of group as a group of people working to make a common task.
We are interested in this program highlight those groups of artists who develop their projects in relation to a work of public art and cultural management.

75% water is a project that converge at one point, water samples from different parts of the world.
These samples are presented as fragments of landscapes (and memories) contained in both bottles and photographs, as in travel and travel undertaken by the individuals involved.
These landscapes content attempt to reduce the distances (geographical, cultural, temporal) among the many places represented and the subject who observes them, so they can be read and interpreted not by way of images and concepts far, but as a series communication strategies, transmission and dialogue on this common element, vital, traveler and transformer is water.

Among 20 and July 30 will be held the first exhibition of our project 75% water in Madrid. The exhibition will take place in space Menosuno in street in La Palma n º 28 in the District of Malasaña.
This interactive project has allowed us to create a network relations and a map of water that helps us to know and understand the life cycle of this element in its broadest dimension.
Thanks to the collaboration of all the people involved, have gathered more than 300 freshwater and saltwater worldwide. A series of samples representing 5 continents, from Australia to Bolivia, to Cyprus, Iceland, Mongolia, Vietnam, the Himalayas, the Nile, the Danube, La Selva del Orinoco, Tierra del Fuego, the Black Sea the Red Sea, Baltic, etc..
We also remind you that the announcement of the project remains open, and you can participate or continue participating. For this reason, we attached the bases and we ask the favor of forwarding this call to those who consider appropriate.

Following recent meetings convened by the delegation of students from the UCM, proposed several initiatives, including the creation of a web directory to serve as artistic and independent groups .
The website is already uploaded, initially as the first approach and possibilities of change and growth (forum, maps ...).
Currently the network includes groups working in Madrid, but will soon be extended including groups from different locations.

This project created with the aim of opening the university space for alternative art collectives Madrid, to meet, talk, debate, discuss their situation in society and to establish the necessary links between them groups.
The meeting, organized by the Central Delegation of Students of the UCM, 18 and 19 May, was held at the Orange Hall of the School of Information Sciences.
The meeting was attended groups:
Acinco, Joint Urgent Basurama. house, La Casa de los Jacinto Artists Quarter, E6_2D, Jaos Group, Manklared, mmmm ...., Perceptron.es, sdf (sindomiciliofijo), stop (no official title intended).
During the meeting began to open networks of communication, collaboration and dissemination of work emprendiods between the groups and raised the possibility of a collective artistic map of Madrid, which will be extended according to the relations with other groups in other locations.
